Thanks to a great friend (Terri Queck Matzie) I did a little "blogging" for the Adair County Iowa Tourism Facebook page last summer - and with this ridiculous weather I thought when would be a better time to add these to our site!!! We can all relive the fabulous warm summer weather!

Lake Greenfield Park This park is probably our favorite in Adair County. It boasts two separate “playgrounds” within a distance that is safe for parents to let kids play on them at the same time. This park is great at building large motor skills for all ages. It has small steps to get up to the slides for the littles and goes to monkey bars and a climbing wall for the older kids. The bathrooms are just glorified holes in the ground, but do what they’re supposed to do which is all that matters! The scenic view is amazing with the water of the lake and sometimes wildlife too. If you have teens there is a Frisbee golf course around the lake as well as sand volleyball next to the playgrounds.

My little people’s favorite part is that there are three slides and they all go “super fast!” Moms favorite part is that there are benches in different places so that I can watch without the sun in my eyes. Older sister enjoys to be able to walk the approximately two mile trail around the lake quietly while little siblings play. She also takes the camera and tries to get pictures to remember these summer days by as well!

I have a 6 year old version of this Cannon PowerShot - It is super simple - click and shoot!! Great pictures every time! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good camera that doesn't break the bank!
